1LE w/ bolt ons acceleration

Does anybody have an acceleration video of their 1LE with bolt ons? I'm just curious to see how hard it pulls.

I was about 135 in 4th and still had a little left yet. So I'm not sure the exact speed I top out in that gear yet. Maybe I'll top it out next time at the track .

Good stuff. 140mph top out in 4th is perfect. I was a little worried that the aggressive gearing would have it top out 4th at like 120ish...

According to GPS track data 4th bumps the rev limiter @ 136.5 mph in mine, OEM. But if you ease off the throttle, it will carry the speed w/o having to shift. I've done this where the next corner is 100-200 feet before the braking zone instead of shifting up and then back down.

No video, but bet on the 5.0. My full bolton 2013 1LE (no tune) + DRs ran 12.3@115. If I stuck with that setup I probably could have gotten that down to 12.1. That was 422 RWHP. My 1LE was very fun to drive at that level. It was a big difference over stock. But this is the same with any SS, 1LE or not. Once you get rid of those Goodyears on the back the 1LE will run right with the non 1LE LS3s.

My friends Auto 2013 5.0 GT ran 11.9 with a CAI, Xpipe, DRs and a tune with 390 RWHP. Physics and the advantage of the auto. He ran 12.4 bone stock. I ran 13.2.

I suspect you are right, those pesky 5.0s are stout little bastards! Hopefully, i can prove otherwise, eventually.

Allow me to point this out though, you misse out on not having your set up optimized with a tune. I believe you might had a chance at hitting 11s @117-118 with it....
