2014 Camaro SS 1LE?

Sorry if this has been answered but I was interested in this 2014 Camaro 2SS on autotraders. It's in Katy, TX from Mossy Nissan and it's white for $33997 just in case you want to look it up. From its appearance it look like a 1LE; vinyl wrapped hood, painted calipers, black 10 spoke wheels, however there is no strut brace and the details they sent me on the car said the gear ratio was 3.45 and I know the 1LE is 3.91. I called and they didn't know what a 1LE was and I haven't had a chance to go up there yet. I know I should just go but I don't want to make the trip for just an SS even though it's still a decent price. What can I do to know for sure if it truly is an 1LE.

ninja edit: looks like a 1LE to me...but your strut bar is missing. Begs the question, what else was stripped..

All indications point 1LE, flat underside steering wheel, wheels, tires. Tread wear on the tires for 7k miles on those tires looks appropriate for a daily driver.

Only thing I can tell from this link, is it is a 2ss manual.

I would want to know where the strut brace is. Could be a simple answer, like some asshat in the service department wanted it for his Camaro.....

I vote 1LE, Has the OEM Goodyear tires (also size looks right shiny tire is hard to read but looks like 285/30/20, they have these listed as 245 front 275 rear like normal SS)on the 1LE 10 spoke wheels, Has the Suede steering wheel and shifter, The black spoiler and splitter. Only thing missing is the Strut tower brace but someone may have removed that doing engine work and left it off.

I was thinking the same since they dont have it listed as 1LE he may have figured no one would notice and freebie for him.

You have my vote on a 1LE. No true way to decipher a Vin to validate the 1LE package but Vin does prove it is a 2SS w/ a manual transmission. Ask the selling dealer to run the Vin through GM and get a printout of the build sheet or the Window sticker. Only options I see that is does NOT have is the NPP exhaust, Recaro seats and Sunroof. If you like that kind of stuff. LOL.

I called the dealership and asked them to look it up yesterday but they haven't got back with me yet. Like you guys are saying it points to a 1LE but with them mentioning the gears it gave me caution. Just was looking more visual cues I may be able to look for to verify. Are the sway bars and any part of the suspension easy info to differentiate from a standard SS?

I vote 2SS/RS 1LE. As far as the strut tower brace, keep in mind that there have been many discussions here about the benefit and / or lack there of that part. Some of our tracking members have removed it claiming it was dead weight. My point is original owner may have simply removed it. The dealer can ask him for it. The Avalanche that we just bought for my wife was missing the headphones and remote for the DVD system, and they original owner brought them in for us.

Sway bars are larger both front and rear but without a side by side comparison it would be hard to tell. Build sheet and or Window sticker is the key. First option on sticker should read (1LE) SS Performance PKG. Good Luck.

I believe there is a sticker in the glove box that list all the RPO codes. It will list 1LE as one of the codes if truly 1LE. I'm out of town for the week, or I would go check for you, if it's in the glove box or not. But anyway looks like you have a 1LE.
