What Nissan 370Z Fans Think Of The Camaro!

I was surfing the net last night looking at other forums to see their reaction to the Camaro and I came across and interesting forum for the new 370Z. They sure don't think to much of our Camaro they think it is an overweight porker that's powr to weight ratio is absurd in a negative way! I quote one of the members here whose name is Joker57676.

Joker57676: PS: "I was seriously considering the Camaro but lurking on Camaro5.com cured me of ever wanting one. If the members of that site are typical Camaro owners, I don't want to be lumped together with those annoying, childish "enthusiasts." Never have I ever run across a bigger group of fanboys blind to reality."

This gentleman obviously doesn't think much of our forum either! I'm linking the whole Camaro post from their forum here if you're interested, some of them respected the Camaro in their posts, but most will have to be taught a lesson first hand as soon as we receive our cars!

Actually their 0-60 times have been tested to be 4.7 sec, the truth is the Nissan 370Z specs are pretty damn close, from what I've seen on Chevy's new Camaro site, to the Auto V8 SS. The best 370Z 1/4 mile I've seen in a test is 13.2 sec. The truth is they have a great car at a similiar price, but they just beleive our car is by far inferior to theirs! They will find out this is not true soon!

Meh. We know who has the better car. That's all that matters.

The 370Z is a hot little car, to be sure. It is just too damn small for me, but it is fast.

Their comments aren't as bad as I thought. Its true, the Camaro is fairly heavy to be considered a "sports" car. The interior also leaves something to be desired for many people who value the "feel" of interiors.

It does say something though that they think the numbers are a lie, because they sound too good. 29 highway, 14,000+ preorders. If they can't even believe it, GM must be doing something right

, see the differnece between us & them is we can admit our cars are very close to theirs performance wise, but they can't it's an inferiority complex

but the Camaro seats more people (which idk about u guys i dun wanna only be able to drive one other person in my car) had is like 6 grand less (msrp) than the nissan, and i beleev gets better fuel economy (and all thats just the LS)

Generally, the comments seem to mimic what a lot of our members have said (different tone, same content) but they have a different set of priorities than we do.

Also, please don't go over there and join up as a Camaro fanboy and 'set the record straight' because we hate it when others do it to us, don't bother doing it to them.

Quoting Arcangel from the 370Z forums:

"Well I have made my decision and as much as I like the Z the Camaro wins, no replacement for displacement, a long storied history, amazing 0-60, track times, etc etc.... Enjoy your cars boys you all have a sweet ride. I will enjoy mine as well!"

Very nice and respectable Arcangel! Hopefully they will learn to our Camaro the hard way!

Well atleast we are supporting the good ole U.S. of A. in our purchases , and I think we are all mature enough to stay here and talk about Camaro's where all the info and feedback is appreciated :flag1:
