GM extended warranty (GMEPP) on sale
(could one of the admins delete my other thread with the short "GM" subject line?)
Just purchased my third GM extended warranty from Dennis Fichtner at Denny Menholt Chevrolet in Montana. Dennis sells these basically at cost and can sell them for any GM vehicle. These are factory GM extended warranties, not an aftermarket company. No hassle when you take your car into the Chevy dealer. For my ZL1, I bought the Platinum plan, 0 deductible, 72 month/48000 mile plan for $1100 (normally $1400). The time and mileage start from today, not from when you purchased the car. They have many variations of time and mileage, you can pick which one meets your needs. I have no affiliation with Dennis other than I have purchased three warranties from him over the years. On our Avalanche this saved us about $4000 after the cost of the warranty. Just passing along a good deal. dfichtner@dennymenholt.com |

I thought the GMEPP's were add-on's to the original in-service-date factory warranties, like the original GMPP's used to be? Now you're saying these new plans start from the mileage you are at during time of purchase? How can they validate that on a remote transaction?
