This is definitely going on my car soon. I have about 5000 miles on my lfx without a catch can, is that long enough to really need an upper induction cleaning? I'm not very knowledgeable on this topic and I want my engine to stay healthy in the long run. Also, the single valve rx catch can is fine for NA motors right? (ie I don't need dual valve?)

Unless you have been doing a lot of racing you are probably fine. For an NA motor you need a single valve, with FI a dual valve can. Feel free to hit me up if you have any other questions.

Does the RX breather oil fill cap come with the parts necessary to plug the unused hoses once it is installed? And on your site, is the "standard" bracket for the catch can the one I would want? Thanks

I have noticed that I am not getting as much soot around the inside of my tips after I put the RX catch on, best investment yet.

Just to make sure I'm understanding everything right, installing the catch can and breather cap with my cai installed will not require a tune correct? And if I later installed the ported tb I would still not need a tune?

The catch can and breather cap do not change anything about how the car runs. The ECM has no clue they are there. An intake and TB will increase air flow but it is still within what the ECM can adjust for on its own.

What is the life expectancy of the check valve in the n/a can and what is the tell tell sign of it not working properly ? Is there a point in time at which the can & or the (the check valve) would need to be disassembled and cleaned? Thanks
