color best with carbon fiber

Thinking of future mods and wanted to see what color matched best with carbon fiber. Been looking at photos and I am leaning towards carbon flash but just wanted to get some input. Little more detail to explain what I mean: Think ZL1 hood with exposed CF insert. If you were going to try to get close to that look with a painted ACS insert, what color would you paint it???

I think it really depends, especially if it is real CF or hydro dip, or cheap plastic imitation.

Hard to say would need to see all them if you have pics of cars with it you can find post them. I think it looks good with most colors and all those colors are dark so the differences will be subtly. Also more info ma help are you talking CF parts on a mostly color car or a whole CF hood or trunk or just few splashes of CF or the whole car in CF wrap with splashes of color??? +1 with spartan what type of CF are you talking about.

This is what I am trying to achieve. I have seen cars with CF hoods that they paint but leave sections of the CF exposed. I am thinking of getting a new hood, not CF, but want to paint a section to give it that effect.

Are you leaving you body color white and doing a colored hood with carbon accent. Assuming that's your car in your pic and SW stands for Summit White.

Would you want to try Hydro-printing to put carbon fiber pattern on the inserts.

http://www.hydrographicsinc.com/patt...bon-fiber.html

I know there are a lot local printers starting to do this around the country.

If hydro-printing wasn't an option, what color would you go with?
