Concerned and anxious
I live in Florida and have a 2010 Camaro LT I just purchased the injen Longtube CAI and morso catch can I've seen threads with people having CEL coming on when installing both and how when it rains the injen CAI is not a good choice? Just would like to get everyone's input an some advice when installing both mods and what I should look for an rememberwhen iinstalling.

I would stay away from it then. Too much risk and not enough gains to justify it. I went with the affordable BBK and see just as much HP bump as the next guy. If you have the money def go with CAI, they have a closed air box style enclosure that helps prevent hot air from being pulled in by the intake.

Well I just now ordered the hydro shield so hopefully that'll be enough I'll just stay away from puddles

I had the injen long tube on my 2010 coupe daily driver then installed it on my 2011 vert until I installed the IPF supercharger in late 2011. The IPF has a long tube also.
Never had a problem with the water sock installed over the filter. You really aren't going to have any problems unless you are driving through puddles over 1.5 feet deep. The tube isn't that low. Don't let people scare you off that never had the Injen, it's a great upgrade.

^thanks for the advice an experience i can't wait to install the CAI an catch can. I'm thinking the VMAX throttle body next or the isolator still undecided.

Living in Florida is the reason I did not get the Injen. It can go from dry to epic flooding in the matter of 20 minutes.
