IOM debadged and w/rear SS emblem

here are pics of my car. i just installed the rear sticker in grey and added the SS emblem. The emblem is off a 69 camaro. The front bowtie is also in grey.

Looks great. I like the old SS font a lot better than the flattened out SS's they use nowadays....

I like it but, to me it looks like you have the SS upside down. I think those early badges are tapered a bit and the narrow part is supposed to go up top, would help to see a closer picture if possible.

yea, it may just be an optical illusion though. I just looked for some pictures of the badges and they do look symmetrical so maybe I'm mistaken.

its not upside sown its the angle, here are some more pics. i tried it before the stripe, as you can see in the pic this badge covers the holes.....i trimmed off the stems with a dremel and placed 3m tape behind it. the bagde comes straight and you need to bend it slightly to fit the angle of the trunk

i got it on ebay from lonestarcarparts....its from a 69 camaro
