Foamer opinions

I have seen both the hose foamer attachment and the one that also needs an air compressor. Anybody used both and have an opinion that they would care to share?

Both spray foam on your car.

That said - the only true difference besides about $100 (more if you need a air compressor) is that the foam produced by a foam pressure washer or air compressor is more concentrated. Meaning the foam will stand on the paint longer than a general foam gun attached to a hose.

Essentially both are doing the same thing; lubricating the surface of the paint to prevent marring during the washing process. But the pressure washer / air compressor makes a thick foam that stands longer than a regular foam gun.

Here's a link to the Tornador - this model (air compressor), does not spray any water on the car at all. Soap will not suffice without water.

Here's a link to a pressure washer foam cannon..

If your going to spend the money, I'm not going to talk you out of it (your a patriots after all ). They are super cool, but they do the same thing as the regular one.. Too rich for my blood, us Colts fans are cheap... Not really considering I've got well over 2K worth of detailing equipment.

For my use - a regular Glimore foam gun works just fine... Hope this helped

That does help. Thanks for the info. I think I'll go the hose attached route and give it a try. I don't have an air compressor, nor do I have the space to store one without getting pretty creative!
