I like how you say, "Well over 1000hp."

Sure as hell can't wait to see a final number.

That would be pretty funny to see when you open the trunk...

Hi ya Cyn. It's probably still a couple of weeks off, but getting closer. Have you been driving your Camaro around lately ?

So here is a clip of a 572 BBC race motor recently tested on the same dyno. The SST will NOT be anywhere near these numbers, but I wanted to give you an idea of how sick some of these things can be. Start watching around the 6:50 mark.

...and for more engine eye candy, here is a motor Tom would have loved to put in the SST, but it is WAY too exotic for this car. Maybe in a C7 Corvette.

With power like that, you DO need one long single rear tire in the back!!!!!!!

THAT IS INSANE!

I wonder how he would get the tire to spin if its one wide continuos tire along that back, eh knowing Bruce he will do like he did with the bumper cooler and find something to make one wide tire

He's going to have to do like he did with the bumper/radiator. He needs the one back wheel to server double duty. He could put the fuel in that huge back tire eliminating the need for a fuel tank. If he does a burnout, stand back!

No comment as I may incriminate myself. I plead the 5th.
