I'm not doing nitrous. Funny though... I almost ended up with a free wet system in my lap last weekend. Never know I guess. I wouldn't turn down a free kit.

Lol

The forged parts will allow you to make more horsepower by being able to push the limits but a forged rod doesn't make any hp. Maybe you'll save a little weight in spots but that's about it.

Go into it once and build it right. You know the old rule of thumb....
The farther from stock you get the more you will work on it!

Go with aftermarket pistons and rods and get that sense of security. Being cam only the bottom end should last longer than everyone else's that isn't doing it. I think the .1 is taking too much out and asking to burn up a piston but that's just my opinion.

Hemp I don't know if you have thought about it but one route you could go is LS3 cam for now and start saving and building in your spare time an LSX with VVT. I was talking with Rhino briefly about that the other day.

I have seen some stories of more, most of less. I think the general rule is .080", but there isn't really any way to know if you can do more or not. You would just have to try it out and see what happens. I tend to agree with you. Ever since I saw Zeke post his new pistons I've been mulling it over. They sure are shiny!

There is someone local here that is talking about building a replacement motor on the side. I do better if I get in over my head and am forced to find solutions. I'll put things off as long as possible, and be as lazy as possible. So it's best to hit me where it hurts... making me drive an expensive toyota until I get the job done!
