Had clear bra but removed it in order to paint my stripes on, will not be putting it back on. The raised edges, no matter how fine or small drove me nuts when cleaning and polishing, like someone poking you in the forehead with their index finger......repeatedly.

Have a Colgan Bra on my Camaro works great long trips. I hate those chips.

Mine's fine..... Most people are shocked when I tell them I have one on there. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be first the do something

I'd be worried about the rubbing on the paint. 3M bra is neat... I'm sure they're a lot more expensive than the conventional bra.

Think the one on my hood bugged me the most and made it the most noticeable as it didn't follow any body line. And yes you are right Scott, going first doesn't always work to ones advantage but I really didn't have any beefs with the install, thought they did a good job for the first 2010 Camaro to be done by them.

Will most likely get a Colgan for the long hauls and go without otherwise.

A Colgan bra will not provide "better" protection... and will also not cover the lights, mirrors, rocker panels, lower doors, roof/A pillars, and gills. Do not use Spam on yor clear bra... bad idea. Get a good sealant such as Zaino and you will be fine.

Installer was top notch, would definitely recommend them to others and did, right Scott. They also installed my vinyl stripes, again very happy with the install, just hated the raised edges. The Ferrari shop that painted my stripes on for me uses this installer exclusively so I doubt the only licensed Ferrari paint shop in Canada would be using an "installer of sub quality" on 6 figure cars.

Just a personal choice, Clear Bra does work as advertised, protects the paint from minor stone chips. Wasn't dissin 3M, to each their own.
