I have the Flowmaster AT exhaust and the sound is nowhere close to the stock exhaust; it's much better. In my opinion, the biggest sound improvement is at idle and moderate rpms, especially inside the cabin, where it is much deeper than stock.
It won't be superloud when you punch the gas, and I wouldn't want that either.

I am new to camaro5 and recently purchased a new 2011 2LT RS. Does any1 have a sound clip of the new Borla axleback kit for the v6 camro? Borla Part #11776

I have heard a couple clips on youtube with the Pro-X series street mufflers and they sound great, but I think they require custom pipes...or so the Borla rep told me because they dont fit otherwise?

if it's been posted on here, then it's probably in that thread.

Yes, soundclips are basically worthless. Flowmaster AT simply cannot be beat on price, sound and look.

I got quoted $633 to buy/ install the Flowmasters for my V-6. The guy charges $140 for just an install so that sounds about right. Any different knowledge for a lower price on flowmasters?

I agree that in person is always best, but if your like me, and you don't know any other V6 owners in the area, and I'm pretty sure almost every one I've seen is bone stock, then you have to go by something.

In that case I'll take sound clips over just hoping it sounds good any day. On here, we can get two things...sound clip + peoples opinions = a very good thing.

Also, some sound capture devices just plain suck, while others are pretty good. In my case, the camera I used captured my sound pretty well, although it is a bit off at certain RPMs...so I consider it to be a good testimate to my setup. I'm sure some others are that way as well.
