He was running all stock and all I have so far for straight line performance is a CAI Inc CAI.

He came by again this morning and said he found the issue. Apparently these things had a plastic intake manifold and his cracked letting a coupld of the intake tracks suck in too much air.
He's got most of the ancilliaries pulled off the top of the engine and put it up on jack stands in his garage to start pulling out the 4.6 before he sends it to the shop for the Coyote install.
Told me he's going to use his annual bonus for a supercharger next month.

An 05 GT convertible with an A5 for example I could see happening. Go to the strip and look at the slower cars that are beating faster cars with quick RT to the stripe. I have no problem believing this outcome.

"Walked" to me means to pull away , like one was sitting still and I walked off .
Or am I just getting old and street racing terminology just that far off ?

to win by more than 4 inches, means he walked him. I'm going by this rule. I "walk" a lot of muscle cars. LOL. ;D

I see you guys running pretty close, but, the edge will still go to the 4.6 at any speed. Don't underestimate the top end of the 3V as they are pretty stout up to about 120 N/A, higher with Boost.

The Verts are usually high 13 second cars, but, with his issues, he's probably running somewhere in the low 14's.

Also, the term "Walked" is when you put several car/bus lengths on the person as if they were standing still. You beat the car, but, not by much. Honestly, you edged him out and the term "walked" is very extreme in this scenario.

It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.
Your right .....but a fender length on a wounded car isnt walking it.....but a win is a win.

On a site like this...we (i use that term collectively even if Im not really a part of the cult lol) allowed this post to go?

The only stock 4.6 that ever put down 310 HP is a 4.6 that doesn't exist.

No 4V that wasn't and 03-04 Cobra made close to that power at the wheels, and if it was a Cobra from that year, it was FUBARd....

Seriously mrrevinto7....please...tell us wtf you are talking about

EDIT: don't mistake that for doubting your time...13.4 in an auto is possible, though not usual....I'm seriously SERIOUSLY doubting the dyno results

Don't worry...I noticed that too, considering the 07 only made like 300 or 305 stock at the flywheel, I doubt with an air intake it is putting down 307. Not happening. Maybe somewhere around 260 - 280??

Walking is steadily and visibly gaining ground with you in the lead.
Pulling on someone is steadily gaining ground on a car ahead of you.
Hanging (locked up) is a close race where neither gains ground after an initial jump.
Yanking (smoking) is a brutal beating that starts immediately at a car length and increases dramatically through every gear change.

Just my terms.

But IBTL for the street racing engine hurt part of your sentence on the mustang... I would edit that OP if you want to stay off of the radar.
