I've used Spam for the bug issue (on other cars). But if it rains on the highway with the Spam on... it gets all over the front end... even windshield!

Go 3M and drive y'er arse off!

I've noticed a few bras on the Camaro5 Fest pics and wondered the same. Living in bug infested Ontario - you just can't escape it and I am debating on adding the 3M film as the leather bra just looks "old". My Red 2008 Impala SS was severely pitted with chips and I truly thought it was poor quality paint and I do not tailgate Semis.
Did you see the white bra on the yellow Camaro? WTH???

Depends on what your needs are. The clear bra is always there, and IMO always visible. The Colgan bra goes on and off in 5 minutes, and better protection..... Cheaper too !

I use mine only for long distance hauls, and it's been great. The only thing I need to wipe off the car are the bugs on the light lenses, and windshield. The bra is super easy to clean too, much easier than wiping the crud off the crevasses of the car. You must be sure to install on a clean car, or risk some rub marks from the dirt left on.

That white stuff you see is the transport tape they use for shipping cars.... That car is from ACS Composites, and I think Joe wanted to keep his new TF2 bumper protected until he got to the fest.

I personally hate the look of them, but they serve a purpose. If you have to do a long trip, I say put one on for the journey, then take it off.

PLEASE, PLEASE don't leave it on all the time I hate the "car bra" fad that went though the '80's, and hate it even more now.

To each their own.

For a long trip I think they may make sense. Take it off when you get there and all is good.

Is the Colgan a new technology or something... or the same as a bra found at Canadian Tire?
