They have to be custom made. There are many shops that sell them on Ebay (not the size we need) just call them up and tell them what you want or just Google "hubcentric wheel adapter".
Size is 5x120mm (NOT 5x120.7mm or 5x4.75" VERY IMPORTANT).
Center bore is 66.9 mm.
The thickness is 1.75" if you don't have roller skate brakes or 2.5" if you do.

My SS is not a daily driver so I'm not that concerned about a spare tire. The way I look at it, what are the odds that I have a flat tire that:
- That a can of fix a flat won't fix
- That I won't be able to get enough air in the tire to get to a service station
- That I won't be able to contact Onstar
- I carry a tire repair kit with the tire plugs and liquid cement/sealant
- I also have AAA as a back up for my back up

I have used can's of fix a flat for years and most of the time it works great as long as the hole is not that big. The key to getting fix a flat to work is to either drive the car or spin the wheel before the fix a flat dries. It will spread the sealant on the inside of the tire and most likely seal your leak.

It doesn't bother me in the least that my Camaro doesn't have a spare. I drive 35K+ miles a year for work and in 12 years I've only had 2 flat's and both were fixed by a can of fix a flat.

It's funny that the only people that seem concerned about cars not having spares now days is the older people (70+) like my dad's generation. They must have had lots of flat tires back then...

Yeah I know I shouldn't be talking about it, it's bad luck. Good thing I don't believe in any of that "karma" stuff. Everybody and their brothers told me how I was going to have horrible luck changing the boat names after I bought them. I have purchased 3 boats that I didn't like the name on it and either changed it or removed it. No ceremony, no blessings, no visit from my pastor, no special procedure. No bad luck with any of them.

Thanks for your concern but as I mentioned, not likely all of these things will happen at the same time.

Maybe some of us worry a little more because we have over 4-5k in wheels/tires and prefer not to take a chance of damaging a wheel.

The 1.75" spacer is all you need... it works great with "roller skate" brakes.

Not sure i'd feel comfortable running that spacer on the front...how are you going to properly torque it without it turning (unless maybe with a cordless impact)?

You simply run your jack handle thru the adapters studs for leverage.

gotcha...makes sense as long as you have a handle (and not one of those electric scissor jacks).

I don't know what spare wheel you used, but I used the GM one that you can order on the V6 Camaro (part number 92230888). It barely clears with the 2.5" spacer.

Check it out.

The Ebay guy DOES NOT use the GM camaro wheel, so the 1.75" may work with that one, but I don't know where he gets them.

This is the GM wheel.

I keep seeing in many threads people mentioning "why need a spare tire when you have road side assistance or OnStar."

My question is, If I get a flat/slashed tire and the inflator repair kit is not enough to fix it, does road side assistance let us borrow a donut tire? Or how do they solve this problem??
