Very mad. But, even though mine's a DD, I keep it garaged and don't take it to sporting events, or anywhere that requires me to leave it alone for long periods of time.
They couldn't do it at my work, windows all around. About the only way that happens is them breaking into my garage and that brings up the legal use of force, as discussed in the other thread about rock throwing punks. |

Not that upset. $500 for a new set of wheels of my choice sounds pretty nice actually. I would be pissed while it was being flat bedded home though.

Not bad. I'd order a new set via insurance. I've got curb rash. :(

did anyone else notice that the car in the picture is actually a challenger? (i think)
but still, i would be pissed. reading that article makes me not regret getting the 18" steelies on my car. those beautiful RS rims would be pretty tempting for a wheel thief. |

It makes me upset that people would actually partake in this sort of activity rather than GET A JOB!!! This is right in line with manhole covers being stolen from city streets all across the country so they can be sold at a scrap yard for a quick $25. Imagine driving down the road and you hit an open manhole with your vehicle...YIKES!

If people didnt buy stolen stuff there would be no market for them. As for the manhole covers, the scrap yards should have some common sense and know there stolen when a crackhead comes in with 2 manhole covers for sale in a stolen Wal mart shopping cart.

VERY made.....for multiple reasons.
First, the theives would certaily screw up the side skirts. Second, my wheels are not STOCK wheels. Third, most likely the insurance would only pay of STOCK wheels.....not to mention I would be out my deductable. Fourth, I would be without my car till it was all fixed and taken care of, not to mention, if this happened while I was away from home with my car....jsut getting home would be a PITA!

My car came from the dealer with wheel locks. I asked why and he said someone tried stealing the 20" wheels of a few cars and SUV's on the lot. They got away with a few of them so now they put wheel locks on.
