Front plate mount

Has anyone made a front license plate bracket specific to the 2010 Camaro yet? I haven't found anything yet- can anyone help?

I dont have it installed yet because I'm waiting on my Ground Effects to come in and get installed.. This one says it's for a Mustang, but I'm sure some simple Mods can be done...

There's one that comes with your car, but I'm guessing you're looking for one that doesn't require putting holes in the bumper....

i got just the thing for you...trm0002 made it and i recieved mine already...he shipped it to my house...only 36 bucks plus shipping

it screws into the existing holes on the bottom...didnt install mine yet but i would assume u take out the screws that are there already holding the bottom of the fascia up and u just put the bracket in place and put in bigger screws with the washers and bam...u use the holder the dealer gives u so it fits perfectly in the middle of the bumper...and if your worried about the metal arms scratching the bottom of the bumper just put something there...i plan on sticking those lil velt tip things you put on the bottom of furniture legs so it doesnt scratch the floor or in the inside of a drawer so they dont bang when closing....anyway ill be putting this on the arm itself where it would touch the bumper if it even does

Post a picture of the retractable mount attached when you have time. Looking for an alternative but more interested in something I can remove easily. Anyone consider strong magnets mounted inside the lower grill? Just a thought.

I got the manual "Show N Go" from Altec - the angle of the fascia does not allow the frame of the "Show N Go" to be attched without modification as its horizontal. I emailed Altec Products and they don't have a solution yet.

I thought about a fabrication to attach to the fascia bolt (either side) as the other solution posted on this thread - a single piece of metal angled to allow the Show N Go frame to be attached... I contacted a local metal fabricator but they haven't responded yet. I attached a pdf which shows what I am writing about... comments welcome.

Perhaps the GFX will have a flat bottom to attach the motorized frame to... good luck with it & let us know...

The retractibles do not work with this car yet. Someone has already purchased this and tried to mount it. The bumper is too steep and sits too far out.

I have some large rare earth magnets on order. Then I will hook them up to a holder and use them. Easy on, easy off. They will hold on tighter than you will ever need.

Not a bad idea. But will they stick to the grill? Or, will you mount them inside the engine compartment side of the grill? If so, do you think that the bracket will still hold solidly while not actually on the magnet? Keep us updated on how this works for you.

I had a similar idea to the rare earth magnets, but magnetic waves don't go very far the plastic so the attraction may not be strong enough. Let me know how it worked out and what size magnet you used. I'm afraid I'll lose my plate going 80 and scratch paint.

I was searching the forums looking for the best and lowest costing solution to our Licence tag problem and this seems to be the best bang for the buck!
I don't really want to spend $100+ on something just to hold the plate.
Plus the one offered for sale in Nashua New Hampshire is kind of tall looking and has about and inch or so of metal showing below the plate.

Where can I get one of these that trm0002 made?
Thanks in advance!

Kim

EDIT:! Nevermind! I found him on eBay and purchased one that will do for now.
Maybe get the remote one after they make one specifically for the Camaro at a later date.
Thanks!

It would be super patriotic of someone to post the dimensions of trm's bracket solution.
