Warranty

Anyone know where I can find out how much more warranty I have I'm not with the car now. Is it it the manual/glove box thing? I have a 2011 but I think it's longer than usual because the dealer drove it not sure tho
Thanks

36k miles after you bought the car from the dealer , 36 months after the date you bought it
But you have 5 years 100k on the power train from the time you got it

Incorrect. It doesnt void the engine warranty.

LT headers only void the exhaust manifold warranty, and possibly other exhaust components down stream for that.

IF somehow they miraculously damaged the heads, then it wouldnt be covered.

You only LOSE a warranty on a item that you completely take off. Like your manifolds when you get headers, or the stock air box when you add a CAI.

Think of everything else as, is this damage COVERED under warranty. If your timing chain breaks or something, it IS covered, cause your headers didnt cause the damage.

If your headers melt some wires or harm the starter or something, that probably ISNT covered.

Main thing ppl worry about is a tune, because tuning the computer can potentially affect the entire drivetrain, engine, trans, etc. Whether or not it was the cause of damage you may be trying to get covered under warranty is up to GM or the dealer, so even a tune may not necessarily void your warranty.

Sales contract will tell you the exact dates. If you installed the headers after you bought it, then I'm sure you may have voided some of the warranty. I'll let others chime in on that one. I didn't install headers with my build because they were not needed. I am guessing, but I believe installing headers requires a tune, which leads to possible GM denial of powertrain warranty.

But if you bought it like that, definitely read your sales contract.

Vroom- I thought a tune was called for when installing headers because most of the times you get check engine light failures that would cause the car to fail emissions?
