Doc sure I can! Would you prefer just the camera out the front? Or what would you guys like to see more of? I'm open to suggestions
If you have more camera views, like a view out the back as well as the front that would be great! It's always very instructional to see how the pro racers drive; the lines they take and the styles and techniques they use on the track to be competitive.

Thanks!!

Cam are any of rear wings on your Camaro just trunk mounted or are they supported from inside the trunk? My ultimate plan for my ZL1 is about 700 rwhp, lowered, upgraded brakes(cross drilled rotors and race pads) and roll bar with safety belts. I'm looking at running Time Attack, track days and other types of "racing" that doesn't involve competitive passing on the track. I think that I'll get a used GTA car for more competitive driving.

also curious about the wing. I use my camaro primarily to road race and have been wanting to install one for a while, although I'm sure almost all are supported through the trunk

I personally like the view out the front from what would have been the passenger seat.

The wing on the TA2 Camaro's is just mounted to the trunk which doesn't work too well because it's not a stock Camaro body. The way the trunk is mounted isn't strong enough for the downforce so people are starting to mount them straight to supports to the chassis. There's actually a new wing in development for next year that should work and give us more downforce.

You can see in the picture that the wing just mounts on the trunk lid and hinge system. It actually causes the front of the trunk to lift up a tiny but sometimes.

Do you think the stock trunk would be strong enough? What wing do you use on the car?

I would for sure ask a shop that has installed them before but I would think it is strong enough. We have to use a wing that comes straight from Howe. It's one of the "spec" pieces.

Out of curiosity Cam, how/when did you get into racing? More specifically how you ended up in your TA series Camaro.

Well a little less than 2 years ago I bought a SCCA GTA car (basically a TA2 car) and just ran club races for my first year. Then when I got good enough and was showing understanding for the car I actually just did 1 race last year with Trans-Am at Road Atlanta with my own car and did very well. After more seat time and seeing that I was competitive in TA we planned on running our own car for the season which we did at the beginning this year. As far as getting in the Camaro's I just got lucky and impressed Mr. Miller enough for him to believe in me to drive his car for his team. And as far as racing in the TA series as long as you meet the requirements and experience to get your SCCA Pro license you can race.

There's a new wing in the process for next season that should work better. I'll let you know about that one as soon as info comes out
