??? about Factory Installed rally stripes. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I need to get a few people that have the factory installed rally stripes to do me a big favor, go out and on your trunk measure the width of the main stripes, the gap between the pinstripe and main stripe, and the with of the pinstripe, also I need to know the spacing between the two main stripes in the center of the trunk. I am ordering a Spoiler for my Camaro and will need to know how to paint the stripes on it so I can install it as soon as the car comes in. The reason I need several people to measure is so I will know for sure if they are all being put on the same from the factory.. That way I will know if I can put my stripes on before the car comes or I will have to wait to see when it comes in.

I have FACTORY installed Rally Stripes. I went out into my garage and got one of my machinist rules and took the measurments using the drawing in your post:

A. 11 7/8"
B. 1/4"
C. 7/32"
D. 3 7/8"

Thanks, Now to get a couple more just to confirm, if they are different I will just have to wait till the car gets here and make actual measurments to my own car...

I think i would wait anyway... you never know what the factory 'did' to your stripes. (just my opinion)

I was just hoping I could have everything ready when the car got here so all I had to do was pop on the spoiler and be done with it.. but you are probably right, waiting would be the best thing.. Thanks.

I'm sure they will be BAD 4SS... i've been debating on stripes myself. Think of it as your first upgrade
