The site says they don't fit because they aren't a direct factory replacement. They are one heat range colder than the factory plugs which is what you want with your mods.

Sorry, I must have been looking at someone else's mod list when I made my previous post. With your current setup you want to go with a 3689 TR6IX until you add more boost.

Your idle quality might suffer a little bit and colder plugs are more prone to fowling. Since I doubt you've got much oil in the cylinders, other than the idle, you probably wouldn't notice the difference.

I need to get these plugs installed soon. I hav a 2.55 upper, long tubes w full exhaust, rotofab and a texas speed blower cam and springs
S. I am still running the stock TR6 plugs.
Should i hav this car retuned after the plug change ?

No sir no affect on the tune.

So do you just run a 0.042 gap on the majority of the pullied zl1s you tune as a standard or does it change depending on the application?

Pretty much, the larger the gap you can run the better the car runs all around.

0.042 seems to work best for all driving situation.

Of coarse as you go past 850 you may need to start closing the gap some.

At 1300 HP we run 0.020-0.025
