I thought this was a CTF car and not meant to be sold?! Is this legit? Talking to wife about it now.

I think there was like 2-3 IBM ones built before the color was dropped.

Hard to tell whats going on which actual pictures of the car.

Sure as hell wouldn't pay $58K for a 2 year old car though.

Still, 58K? You can likely get a new 13 or 14 for that.

yeah considering I paid 55k brand new over a year ago that price is lame. I have seen people getting better deals than that now that they have built 10k of them.

One of the four was raffled off by the Corvette Museum about a year ago. Maybe this is that one. That dealer is in Bowling Green, KY.

Very rare and if documented, that is the reason for price. If these cars are ever worth anything to collectors, that will be a big difference.

A CTF car doesn't always get the best of care either. Recall they're for real-world testing.

Go buy it, put it in a bubble, and even if you can get up $85K or so 20 years from now on a 2% (conservative) inflation rate, you still won't break even.

It's your money, but I'd pass.

I bet it's the one that guy paid $25 for one raffle ticket at the Corvette Museum to win. I remember reading about it. Guess he decided to get rid of it.

I'm not considering buying it except for the fact that it is rare and the ZL1 would be awesome to own in that color. Whatever my next 5th gen is will be a keeper unless it too gets wrecked like my last one. I do agree that the price is too high as well as I wonder what the mileage on it is.
