PLEASE, some explain how a tint job ends up like this?
Got the guy from the Chevrolet dealership to do the job on the side. And this is what he returned. And that is only the tip of the iceberg. The tint looks like bubble wrap after him doing it twice. But how the hell did he put razor marks on my windows and windshield?

Cut the tint after he had it stuck to the window.. our rear windows are the biggest pain in the A** to do lol. I did mine myself...isn't perfect but I cant complain, didn't pay someone to do the same quality work

They usually cut it outside the car and then install it. Looks like he cut right into your glass. I would be mad!

they cut the tint on the outside of the car. WOW all the windows will need to be replaced. Sorry to see that. What a crappy business!

He needs to buy you a new back window! Razor blades should never be used on the rear window! It messes up the defroster. And looking at the marks, it looks like he scraped it too dry. He needed to spray lots of fluid on the window. He also probably didn't use the right fluid. Maybe he just used water instead of water mixed with either application fluid or baby shampoo. I'm guess he destroyed your defroster.
Also, the bubbles are caused by lint and/or dirt. He probably didn't use lint free cloths and didn't clean it properly. I would be pissed. |

I just talked to him. I was pissed. He said he will pay to have it fixed. May have something to do with me being 6'3 and 220lbs. Not sure. But is there any way a glass company can fill in the scratches?

Those scratches look to deep, but a vendor I know actually buffs/polish out some scratches, others that are deeper I think he grinds down the scratch, then buff/polish.

I'm waiting on a call back from my autobody guy. Hopefully he can fix them. If not this guy has to cough up $1,000+ or suffer the consequences. You don't mess with a mans ride. Just like messing with his woman.

The only kinda repair I'd be agreeing with is full replacement. I can't believe they had the balls to give it back like that.
