This 0-60 video is for irpq11 and other L99 guys...
Since I broke the car in on the way home from Texas, I was curious to see how she performed. So I took a video of a standing take off just mashing the throttle. I did not turn off the traction control or anything.

With a coolish engine (not after a lot of driving), try it again with the car in M (Sport mode) with the TC off. I think you might see some improvement (maybe mid 5s range) which, wouldn't be that bad in South Florida heat and humidity. |

How can the both of you say not good at all? Right at 6 seconds and he didnt even launch the car right or load rpms at all..he just mashed the throttle from a dead stop with all systems on...This is not directed at Indpower because I know he knows how to drive or anyone else for that matter..But if you want to get the best 0-60 times out of your car..you just dont mash the throttle from a deadstop, if you have been doing it that way no wonder you are in the 6's..and there is no telling if he had a full tank of gas, what acessories were running how hot the engine was etc...

That run was after 9 hours of straight driving.

Well when the 2LT beat me we where both in M/sport mode. No traction control and foot off brake smash gas. My car did not even spin the tires. The V-6 did chirp.
When they ran the 6.2 0-60 times with the GM computer software hooked up the car was RPM loaded to 1500RPM. |

0-60...best times with minimal gas in the tank...everything turned off (ac/radio etc.)
Me I would turn traction control off and leave active handling on...left foot on brake..right foot mashing throttle to the point that the rear tires are just about to break loose...then let off brake and feed the throttle..control the slippage with your right foot...if you are pushing buttons or setting your measuring system or even looking at it while driving you are losing tenths |

Damm, doesnt seem good. I hope you guys all get your cars fixed. I know my 2LT feels really slow. My friends Mazda 3 actually feels quicker.
Lets just hope that all these slow L99s can get a quick fix. |

Your car is different. Your car wouldn't be able to run 6.0 sec, 0-60mph in Florida heat and humid, after hours of driving, and using no launch technique. That's why I don't think there's anything wrong with his car. Under different conditons (cool weather, TC off, good launch technique) his car will probably runs some good times. |
