Iceolator for Manifold - left over bracket
So I have installed this:
And in the process it says to leave out the Front Manifold support bracket, and it's OK to do that... The one the chap is holding here with his left hand: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7279607 But has anyone got an alternative Bracket we CAN put on? Just leave it there. You really don't need it. You can hold onto the bolt in case you ever return it to stock. If you want to use the engine cover, you can add a few washers under the little post to the left of the throttle body.

Disconnect the battery if your going to unplug the Throttle body. I just left the connection and set the throttle body to the side. Is that a 10mm or 25mm?

Iceolator for Manifold - left over bracket
Thanks EddieFuzz,
I have my CatchCan mounted via the Post so all should be good for the Engine Cover level. It is a 5/8"? Iceolator via. Apex ... it's NOT the 25mm it's the thinner one ... and a new Ported TB at the same time! :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just removed mine so it does not look like something's not right. I'd say remove it.

I saw this on another Forum Post ... but it was to do with the 25mm Iceolator ... not sure ours would give enough height.

Mine is left out & no problems. Never put the engine cover back on & like it like that!

I made an adapter for mine. A piece of 1/4 inch aluminum plate with 2 holes drilled in it and a piece of 3/4 inch aluminum round stock with 1 hole drilled through center. I realize it probably isn't necessary but it does give it a finished look.
