need input on shifters
i am looking to get me a short shifter in the near future
so where can i get a good one for a decent price? what kind is the best to get? and how much are they to install? will dealer do it for me? does it void warranty?

I am also looking into various shifters to use in my build this winter.
The hurst and the MGW are the two to choose from in my mind. Both are reliable, and both are a great improvement. From what I can find the Hurst is a little shorter throw, but makes slightly more noise...but some dynamat will solve that. The MGW is also slightly more money, but it is a nice quiet piece right out of the box. Hope that helps. |

MTI racing has a good one. I installed it a few months back love it. Positive shifts. Down fall extensive install. costly $389 shifter $250 installation

There will be another player in the market SOON!!!! It will be similar to the Hurst design but will feature knob height adjustability, UP OR DOWN.

How about we add that these shifters need to come down in price.
I cant get over what came with the Hurst, a plastic ball knob, some grease and a shaft and flange nothing else for $375. Crazy!!! |

the hurst unit is in the low to mid $350 range now . I believe the MGW is upper $300 range?. Both are nice pieces
