After SEMA we are going to tap into the oil pan and return the oil into the pan instead of the valves.
I think I'm going to just tap in to the oil pan. Not sure if we will get to this before SEMA but if I do, I'll bring pictures for you.

Could you front mount an oil cooler and just have a separate oiling system for the turbo. You could put an oil pressure / temp sensors on the outlet side of the sts pump.
I like your thinking. The issue is the high pressure in the block due to the higher boost and having the oil forced out of the pcv hose. More of a design issue I think. STS uses a very simple system that returns the oil by using a modified oil fill cap. For the 5 psi. Of boost, doesn't seem to be an issue, but running 7+ we are discovering issues like this. A solution may be a separate oiling system, not sure. I think I'm going to try tapping in to the oil pan as it will help to get oil to pan more efficiently.

I know every one would like to get more boost, but with 350 hp at the wheels with 5lbs, How much more can you go before you blow/replace the transmission. If I remember correctly it was 340ish with a 5000lbs car, so were does that leave our 3600lbs Camaros.

We would need to either see the dyno data or know the RPMs at the peak HP. Let's say he's getting 350 HP at 6000 RPM. If he loses 18% power through the drivetrain, he's making 426 HP at the crank (sound familiar). That means about 372 TQ. Remember, this is at 6000 RPM so he is probably safe for three reasons:

1) Once going, the tranny can take more torque as long as you don't dump it on all at one time.

2) He's probably making less torque at lower engine speeds

3) The tranny was rated for a 5000 lb car, we are about 3/4 that weight.

That's what my brother's doing with his WRX right now. Unfortunately, everytime he screws something up on that car he comes and borrows my truck!
