Good luck. Are you throwing drag radials on or using the street tires?

Running street/stock tires, but going to let the air out to 20 psi. Going to have a gopro on the car and additional videos and pictures from my family!
I'll post times when I'm done. |

I think 20 psi is a little too low ...

Good luck. Let's see some 11's. '
I agree, 20psi is a little low. My best 60' times (1.77) on stock Pirelli's was at 32psi. Can't wait to see the videos.

I wouldn't go any less than 25 psi, any more could damage the sidewall or bead. Also what ever you take out of the rears, put in the fronts.

Had the tires at 28 psi and 3/4 tank of gas. Used the launch control and had the best time of 12.4 and the best mph 117.7, highest time was 12.7 and lowest mph 115.6. All my runs had bad 60 foot times, 2.4, 2.2, 2.3. Def need to get drag radials.
I tried one run with the ptm's off and I couldn't get a decent launch. I haven't been to the track in like 9 years when I was 20 yrs old! So I'll get some more practice now that the car is broken-in officially and get back to the track. I'll post the exact time slips tomorrow. Just washed the car and going to bed. |
