FOG LAMPS on 1LT RS Models... - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

At delivery stage, the salesman told me that the fog lamp has no switch to turn it on and off, its light detective!

It just doesnt register in my brain and I knnow he doesnt know what hes talking about. Also I can't find the switch for the fog lamps to turn them on!!!

Does ANYONE know how to turn on just the low fog lamps without the HID Headlamps?

I'd appriciate your feedback guys, safe!

yes for the RS package there is no switch for the fog lamps it will turn on automatically in morning.I think the reason is the tensity of the HID are very high especially when you switch to high beam which should more than enough for fog.

They are not fogs in the RS package. They are Daytime Running Lamps. No switch, as stated.

Thanx for your feedback, I was reading the manual "Getting To Know Your Camaro" last night and it states that RS Package has DRLs (Daytime Running Lights).
Pissed lol

Im still tryna find out how to post pix lol I clicked on the icon on the message box to insert image but it says: Please insert the URL of your link.

Why cant it be user friendly lol Someone suggested photobucket.com then copy the link and insert it. I still havent tried it out.

Any other simplier way though here?

press Attachments icon in first row near the Smilies icon then browse select your picture then press upload when its done uploading press the attactments icon again and select your picture.(don't forget to resize).

Obviously, but now I know that RS has only DRLs so I havent got the choice of turning on my fog lamps only at night. Oh well, I still love up my camaro lol

Why do you want fog lamps on at night??! Surely they should only be used when it's foggy!

Well thats why I didnt go for the RS package.

I love the sun roof, rims are not different than the ordinary Camaro, the spoiler is short like nothing at all, and I can use my fog lights whenever I want.
