I'll cover quite a few points with this post, then it's back in the car for some more...get to know....time!!

Delivered 5/15/09
Castrucci Chevrolet in Cincinnati, OH
VR 2SS/RS M6

200 miles so far. Meets most of my expectations or more.

First the delivery. It caught me off guard. I was on my way to
work when the call came in that is was being offloaded at the dealership
Needless to say, I turned around and did not make it to work

Two thoughts on my dealership. I did not get anything in writing when
I ordered. I was told that they would honor GMS for me. As time went
on, I found out that they were charging OVER MSRP for Camaro orders

To their credit, the VERBAL commitment for GMS was honored on my deal

1. they honored the commitment, that was very good.
2. they charge over MSRP now, that is very bad.

Exterior

SPOT on!! Beautiful!! Grand Slam!! Way to go GM. The HIDS and HALOs
are worth the RS price alone. The Victory Red is stunning on this car. My
wife picked the color or colour for you northerners, so all that credit goes to her.

Interior

What was everyone crying about??

It is amazing. The leather is nice.
The drivers wheel is just the right size. Gotta get used to the buttons but that will come with time. ABL?? WOW!! Really an amazing touch. Wasn't even woried about it, boy am I glad it is there!! Beautiful.

Stereo

BA sounds nice. I have bad luck with blowing speakers so lets hope these last!!!

I am an idiot. I failed to look the car over at the dealer. I was so overwhelmed I just glanced it over. BUT I lucked out and everything seems great.

Visibility

Out the rear is poor as expected. Nothing I can't get used to though. The windshield is narrow but looks great. I had concerns about the A-pillars blocking views while turning, they don't.

Driving is amazing. Power is incredible. Turns eyes everywhere. I am in love. Now she needs a name!!

More to come.... Reactions from the car show I dropped in on during the first 5 hours and getting stopped by the Police (that could not keep up) later that night. Stay tuned. I gotta drive!!!

Hey Look at the label on the door! Says it was made on 5/09, That was a Saturday! Or is that just the month and year?

I believe I went to 3800 on the 5th of May. Not sure of the date. I will be going to dealer on Monday and will try to get a printout of my workbench.
