First oil change @ 2500 miles and it got rained on for the first time on the way home from the dealer.

Pulled the cover off and called OnStar and did my setup thing. I did'nt take any of their extras though so I did'nt need to pull out the fantastic plastic lol. Since I had the cover off I started it and let it warm up for awhile. Love the sound of the SLP Loudmouth IIs!

I'm doing a CAI next week. Thinking about headers/exhaust next.

If you go to YouTube and than go to Newman Chevrolet there is a seven minute video of when we picked up the car. You will get a great idea of what it sounds like at idle plus slowly moving. Scotty did an excellent job on the videos. There is two parts. The longer one is part two of Papabear's Camaro Going Home.
I highly recomend these axlebacks. They are not overly loud but still get attention when you fire it up. They sound awesome!
Let me know what you think of the vids and the sound.
If you wanted a better idea of sound I would be More than happy to let you hear them over the phone. Let me know if I can be of any more help,I am more than happy to.

I watched the video. I do like the sound. Is that the only mod you've done to get that sound.

I'm a bit concerned to get a new exhaust system because I hear that some make the car sound odd when the AFM kicks in (I have an automatic). I may have that AFM tuned out.

I am also putting a CAI in as soon as it arrives. I'm hoping that beefs up the sound a bit. I don't want it to be too loud. I like to be able to talk in the car and listen to music.

Only mods to the car so far is the Loudmouths,Hurst Short Throw shifter,4 pack gauges and the skip shift eliminator.
I promise,these are no where near loud enough to interupt your radio or conversations.
I can't relate to the AFM as mine is a manual but IF mine was an auto getting rid of that would have been my first mod lol. PS I have a C.A.I. ordered also. Just my luck you will probably get yours first and you ordered after me lol.

I removed and painted and then re installed rear bowtie. Painted it flat black matte.
