This car will soon be very well recognized as a serious threat to the performance car segment. I was a good car before but now it's going to get some street cred. Supercar threat, no.....that's the ZL1's job to try for but I'm loving the recognition these 1LE's are starting to get :P

I really should have gone with the NPP and skipped on the sunroof. Oh well. There are aftermarket exhausts, but no aftermarket sunroof. :-)

Well I got my copy of the mag..

The verdict isnt has heroic as other critics recently; they managed less lateral Gs; 0.99G compared to 1.02G in the Laguna Seca Boss. They stated that the car feels heavy and has some understee.

They stated the VIR time and said it was no joke.

All in all, its kind of a neutral feeling, but they easily give the edge to the Boss(Laguna Seca it seems). Both in therms of accelaration(13.1@109mph) and on a road course.

They had really good comments on braking and said the interior was noisy.

Its kinda boring I'd say(most boring of Road n Track I've read)..It wasnt a good article, they threw fact from the past in your face and stated the package listing. Other than that, they used caution not to give any real opinion, which is somehow logic since they didnt really put it to the test again any competitor.
This wasnt the test/article I was looking for.

Just like journalists in the tech industry, people are afraid of speaking the truth for being cut out of future press events by the competitor's product. David Pogue and Walt Mossberg never say anything bad about Apple products and they are the two few who get early access to the latest hardware.

The only answer is race day at the track, I suppose.

There's also Top Gear. Those guys are refreshingly HARSH on cars they don't like. At least Richard Hammond likes American Pony Muscle Cars...

Yall are right!! Top Gear(UK) is a great show. I watch the BBC all the time just to see the replays. Ive really tried to get into Top Gear(US). Those guys just dont seem to have the same chemistry!!! Just my opinion.

Read that article today, and as with many dealers, the writer doesn't know much about the package and how it can be ordered. As can be seen in by his references to the interior.
