Alright, I double checked for a post count requirement and couldn't see one. Anyone, please correct me if this is out of line.

First off, my location: Raleigh, NC.

On the G8 GXP, the front calipers are the same as the Camaro calipers save for the caliper-to-spindle mounting bolts, which are 12mm on the GXP, 14mm on the Camaro. A rather industrious G8 owner also created a bracket that lets us G8 owners use the Camaro rear rotors and calipers on the G8. Since I swapped to the entire 2009+ CTS-V brake setup, these pads and rotors are take-offs from my car that will actually fit the Camaro SS.

In summary, these pads and rotors fit the Camaro SS.

The list:

Hawk HP Plus pads for rear CTS-V 4-piston calipers; Never used, still wrapped new in box - $30, $45 shipped
dba 5000s two-piece slotted rotors for use with GXP calipers; used for approx. 8000 miles and one track event - $375; $425 shipped for pair

Front DBA 5000S rotors.

DBA 5000S close-up, unfortunately demonstrating the rust ring these rotors develop around the hat. The braking surface doesn't extend that far in. Some sandpaper will clean them up, and paint will mask them.

DBA 5000S braking surface close-up. Again, just surface rust. The big fleck in the middle is a piece of dirt from my garage floor.

Hawk HP Plus pads for rear calipers. I wasn't kidding when I said they weren't opened! Also comes with the Hawk grease.
