That's in-line with what my dealer said last week... and although I don't agree with it, I'm not surprised.

When UCF and Heinz started this thread, all was right with the world (so to speak). But as TPW's were handed out and not built when they were "targeted", people freaked out. And IMO for a while there it looked REALLY bad (on the outside looking in) for GM, I would have done the same thing if the info available made people angrier and made me look bad.

A month ago I couldn't help but think what the Mustang lurkers must have been thinking reading this thread, laughing at GM etc. Just bad publicity IMO.

I never got a chance to thank you both for all the hard work I know it must be frustrating to not be able to finish it:(:(

I think it looks way worse now with GM not willing to give any info out at all. Maybe that's just me.

I never got that impression at all. When were people getting angrier and angrier? People would've (eventually) gotten their VIN from their dealer. The info on here was the only thing keeping people sane. If anything, the anger has only increased since the information got cut off (to us and dealers). Imagine how pumped people would be to see 350vins/day popping up as they would be now. And as long as the DBC made sure dealers were aware that the TPW as only a rough estimate, I don't see how GM can cut them off. There's no point in all the secrecy. This isn't some covert military operation! I mean, Dylan, the Mole, super60, 80zedder are all cool guys but they aren't Delta Force or something (besides, they're Canadian ).

And yea, it's extremely frustrating to put in all that effort only to have it shut off. I had gotten it to the point where it was almost self sufficient.

Partially updated spreadsheet with 1919 Camaro VINs

Added many VINs from AutoTrader and a few from ebay and the forums.

If the following members would post or PM either their trim (2SS, 1SS, 2LT, 1LT, 1LS) & transmission (auto, manual) OR full VIN number, then I can complete the VIN.

The one VIN my dealer has is a Red Jewel Tintcoat. My dealer told me nobody that ordered from them ordered RJT. Also, his dealer car isn't listed.

He told me that either mine or an IBM one would be first to arrive at the dealership.

google gm customer service and the tracking # has to come from the original order, 6 letters or a combination of 6 numbers and letters

PM'd Heinz my VIN this morning-- Dealer e-mailed me the Invoice looks like Invoiced on the 22nd and shipped on the 20th--curious if the EXP I/T orINT COM dates of 5/5/09 have anything to do with Delivery date- thanks, sorry if in the wrong spot

Its going to Loganville, GA...I dont know if its ever going to be on a train after looking at the UP train routes...my dealer doesnt know anything...I have heard 3 different things from 3 different GM reps.
