Corsa Automatic vs manual exhaust.

Im looking to put an exhaust system on my 2010 ss camaro. It is automatic but i was wondering if you would be able to put the manual exhaust on the car instead of the automatic....


also if there is really any sound difference between the two exhaust systems.

Yes you can put the manual on the auto. The difference is the resonators that help with the drone of afm for the auto. The manual setup is a bit louder but not much. If you still have afm and aren't planning on tuning it out anytime soon go with the auto setup.

I have an L99 and used the L99 Corsa, but the AFM became very annoying once I added the exhaust. I soon had it tuned out and now, especially with a CAI, I love the sound!

Btw, Andy at Livernois said they use the L99 version of the Corsa exhaust on all their builds with headers. He said the Corsa LS3 was too loud with headers. Something to consider if headers might be part of your future plans.

I have the LS3 Corsa on my L99. Tuned out AFM and it's perfect!

Livernois put the L99 Corsa on my LS3 and I love it. It has absolutely no drone and is very loud when you want it to be!

did they tell you before they put it on that they were putting the l99 version on ? i know me personally i would be pissed to have the l99 version. some of us want it louder than others. even though they are both loud with headers. just the thought would get to me. thats just me.

They put the LS3 corsa on my LS3 (headers and cats)
Not loud at all unless you get on it.

The manual system is a little louder. Both with the stock manifolds neither get over the top. The Camaro system is based off the Corsa Sport mufflers wich is right between their touring and xtreme series mufflers. The added resonators help with the drone but I doubt you would get any with the manual version anyway.
