best combo - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a new 2010 camaro ss. I am looking at this combo corsa cat back exhaust, vararam intake, and the superchip programmer. what do u guys think of this combo? Do u guys have any other good ideas of exhaust, intake and programmer combos?

I personally went with the 3" Flowmaster American Thunder cat- back system for its nice tone and no drone. I installed a K&N aircharger. Nice results with this combo. The sound is great and the performance is awesome. Then installed the exhaust and intake at the same time and got even more power, but noticed my mpg's got worse. (2-4 mpg worse). I have been running this setup for about a month now and have absolutely no problems.

ya really, much rather have a tuner like JRE email tune. or another company like that.

I went with the combo in my Sig and couldn't be happier. The exhaust/CAI combo produces great sound and the Jannetty tune really woke up the car!

Ya.. I tried for a JRE tune but Ted was busy so I went for the dyno tune. Only took a few hrs for him to get back to me but I'm impulsive and impatient... Not a good combo... I'm working on it hahaha

What are you ultimate goals for the car. If you plan on modding it further a custom tune makes sense. Corsa is a great sounding exhaust, not to many people can knock that. We've heard mixed reveiws on Vararam. Some people really like but we sell Roto-Fab and CAI intakes (best sellers). Most people have been very satisfied with them and the deals we've been cutting on them to. Hit us up for a Camaro5 discount when your ready to buy.
