Jannetty Racing Whippled L99 Results

Big Dan brought us his Weekend Warrior L99 that previously had our 375 RWHP Street package and ran 12.20s at 112 mph.

He decided it was time for an upgrade and after much deliberation and a push from Jr, he decided on a Whipple 2.9 in black along with a Black CAI kit to finish off the look.

As expected we got what we have seen time and time again with the other wise stock L99s.

506 RWHP 482 RWTQ on pump gas with a little cushion of safety.

Interestingly enough at Low Blower speeds with the 4 inch pulley the boost curve is similar to a Vortech supercharger as seen on the dyno sheet.

We can really tell that this blower is hardly working at all, so IATs will always be as low as possible.

The Fit and Finish of the Whipple is Just Plain Awesome!

With Tons of Room To grow I am sure Dan will be revisiting JRE for some more upgrades in the Future.

Thanks Dan always a Pleasure working with you.

Ted.

Thanks Ted. It is always a pleasure doing business with a first rate person like you and your shop. It's amazing watching you juggle, working on cars, talking on the phone and servicing the members on this site. What you provide is honesty and not just a hp number or a quick buck to make.

I will return to JRE as this long and never ending build continues. It was a spirited ride home with my new found power.

Btw, my son's new slogan is JRE (Just Right Everytime).

Thanks again Ted

Slogan is all yours

Alignment was a lot tighter. As far as the Perelli's the car would do the Scooby Doo every time I left from a light.

The Whipple does not use a belt in the back of the blower like the Maggie, it has a gear box, so NO.

Ted.
