Nice run....congrats. Hopefully we keep seeing more and more 12s as we have seen lately out of these kits.

Yeah I had a great time out there. I was running a 100 shot this time around (dyno yesterday showed the car making 308-hp and 356 ft-lb of torque). Definitely going to need line lock next time so I can do better burn outs and get the tires to hook more consistently (running 18-in z06 replicas with MT ET Radials). I'll post up the time slip tomorrow after work.
I think for now I'll be sticking with the shot I have till I've run the best I can on it, then work my way back up to the 150 shot. Also had to get the nitrous injection re-worked as the direct ported config was having issues. |

Nitrous is easily the best bang for the buck 1/4 mile wise. You can get a quality kit for 800-900 and gain 75-100 hp pretty easily.

Excellent! Yes, Nitrous is a affordable solution if done right and safe. Bottle refills are a bit of a hassel. Your dyno results are way low as I suspect it was an enertia drum style dyno and the LLT will detect the resonance/sound as spark knock and it will cause the Bosch ECU to pull timing, which it dosent do on the track/street. A eddy current loaded dyno set at around 15% loading and it will give you an accurate reading. I suspect you are around 400 rwhp actually. Good job all that raced and you make us proud V6 owner running the quickest LLT SC record again. AND on 305 rwhp on a enertia dyno. |
