Help with Halos for a 2011 LS

Hey everybody, I have a 2011 LS and I really want halo headlights. I was wondering if someone could explain what I need or what my options are. I have seen so many different kits but I'm not sure which will work for me. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

Well I'm guessing that you do not have the RS package. So your options are the following:

- buy a set of eagle eye headlights ~ $350-$500
- do the halogen core exchange with AAC and you can customize everything about the headlights. PM jonathan@aacstyle.com for pricing as I do not know it off the top of my head.
- buy a set of RS headlights from a GM parts distributor ~ $$$$ a lot of money

I am sure that I missed some other options, so if anyone else wants to chime in with some more go right ahead.

I have an LS too and am in the process of doing the same thing. The Eagle Eyes appear to be a good option and are plug and play if you don't mind that they are slightly visibly different from the OEM halos. I was able to find a set of the stock Halo lights on ebay for $800, but I have seen others on here say that if you are patient enough you can find them for about the same price as the Eagle Eyes. If you do go with the factory setup you will also need a wiring harness that you can get from member ottobody for $100.

I have been wanting to do this too! Some of the options were too crazy for me... IE... Put your headlight in da oven to loosen up the seal and use a knife to pry this or that! No way! I want to buy a whole light that is factory sealed and will work on my LS!

I went the route of putting them in the oven. Definitely scary when you pop them in the oven.

Thanks everybody for the suggestions and help. I think that I am going to look around to try to find factory HID's at a decent price, otherwise the eagle eyes seem like a great option. I am going to avoid the whole option that requires putting the headlights in the oven since I'm terrible with stuff like that!

I would love to hear how you like them when they are installed, and any pictures would be much appreciated!

Here's a thread full of pictures of the eagle eye lights. They look almost identical to the factory lights, but have visibly smaller halo rings and if I am correct do not come with an HID bulb. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=eagle+eye
