We have done several of similar builds to yours in our shop, You need injectors to be safe and get the most out of it. We recommend and use ID850's.

I ran the same setup and didn't have any "problems" however the injectors were at max duty cycle. To be on the safe side, you should upgrade to a larger injector especially if you intend to upgrade further. Smitty's car was out of injector with the above mods and the rpm limit had to be lowered 200 rpms to prevent a lean condition. I'm not sure if it matters...Smitty's car is an M6 and mine is an A6.
