sweet jeez, man! That is one of the nicer looking Z's i've seen...for sure...

looks like you are running a little less weight, about the same hp, a little less tq...might be a fun match up!...although I'd bet you could take me in the twisties.

I can't get it below a 13 right now either...but that will soon change.

Thanks Doug! I think from a roll I have ya. But in a drag race it would be a good run! You'll get ahead for sure and I might reel you in. On the road course once I get ahead I think you'll have a challenge. But it's all in the driver's ability also.

Stock for stock the skid pad numbers for the camaro ss and the 350z are very close. With what you have done you probably are a few hundredths better now than stock. With equal drivers you on a small tight track would probably have the upper hand. On a larger track with decently long straight it would probably come down to who had more straight line speed.

I totally agree with that.

Love everything but the hood... not the design of the hood just a color. Nice to see a clean, powerful vehicle though.

It's a carbon fiber hood. As well as many other parts.

That's very nice indeed. Always liked Z's. My very first and fondest memory was a 1970 240 Z, Emerald Green with gold trim, old school mag rims, with a scorpion 6 pack carb setup. Loved that car. Was hit by a lady with no license in El Paso :(

Destroyed the car. She ran a red light and instead of turning, she just rammed my car and the storefront window. Then she had the nerve to get out and try to run away....good ol El Paso..

But I love seeing nice hooked up Z's.

OP, your car is amazing and I actually really like the hood, but I agree with a_Username that it would look even better painted- I never really got into the CF look much and think the car's flow better with the whole thing painted. I might go for a similar hood with my Z (07 San Marino Blue), If I do I'll be getting it painted to match.

CF against any other color but black just doesn't flow as well. IMO. I do have a paint scheme in mind but the hood won't be the only exterior CF. Once I'm done I'll be repainting the car.
