looks like a classic muscle car engine!!
i love it.. but i prefer the magna look and my fav is e-force look (with a window hood) the intake being so low would be a big no for me, cause over here we hardly get rain, but when we do the place floods a bit and i wouldnt risk the intake sucking up water/mud... also its very dusty /sandy but regardless.. the car looks like beast and am sure is! |

The OWNER (me) doesn't even know the numbers yet! I was told it was hitting the dyno today. If Jeff doesn't post them, I will when I get them.

Hey Guys,
We have been working closely with KB making sure their manufacturers tune works as well as its supposed to. They had some MAJOR PCM issues recently, and I flat refused to load the tune file until we were 100% confident the problem was resolved. Once we got the confirmation, then we loaded it.. Actually, it wasnt with anything KB did, it had to do with the actual firmware in the factory computer. I was not willing to risk Steves PCM. What was the problem?? Aparently GM has a few different firmware files for these cars. If the tune file that was attempting to be loaded was incorrect (meaning different OS), it literally locked the PCM, and turned it into a paperweight. The only fix at that point was a new PCM. KB worked with the programer supplier, and got them to install a failsafe ""Tune Que" into the programmer. So now, its 100% safe. Even if the customer has the earliest version of the firmware in their car, it is perfectly safe. So during the time this was all being sorted out, We had to wait it out. Thankfully, when Steve sent us his car, he said there was no rush, and to just make sure it was right. Any other siutuation, would have created issues. We got the tune loaded, and layed down an instant 554/520, on 91 octane, 8psi, and a 100% canned tune from KB. But now that we have the tune file in, we can "Massage" it a little, and get more for him.. We dont hold the record for the highest HP LS based KB twin screws in the country for nothin.. But this will be as close to a canned tune as possible. Ive gotta run to Salt Lake City, Utah tomorrow to pick up a customers car, but I will post graphs and video on Monday. |

554/520 with just the KB and exhaust???? Holly Crap!!!
Are you going to be doing a package deal with the KB, Cam & headers etc. like you were doing with the Maggie? Can you PM me what the total cost of getting a car from CA (Riverside area) to you for that kind of setup? Thanks!
