***EIBACH INSTALL tomorrow***few ?'s

Hey guys! I recently purchased the pro-kit springs and was planning on doing the install tom. just had a few question

-Do you have to cut the bumpstops? it says no in the instructions, but Pfadt springs is a similar drop and does require it....plz clarify

-Any advice or tips are welcomed....i've done a few drops on imports i'm assuming this is pretty much the same

THANKS A BUNCH!

you ought to, if you want the same amount of wheel travel. if you don't cut them, you might bottom out a lot easier.

No, you do not have to cut the bump stops. It specifically says so in the paper that comes with the set! I have installed them and had no problems of the shocks bottoming out.
Look at the DIY section there are one or two good write-ups that i used.

X2 I'm planning on doing the same kit. Also what tools did you use to install it yourself? Hoping this is something I can do on a Saturday or Sunday in the garage. Let me know, thanks.

I highly recommend doing it urself, hardest part was reinstalling endlinks...i practically did the whole install by myself aside or a few times i needed second hands....u can def do it in about 3hrs with basic hand tools...i used this link to install, couldnt have made it easier...i didnt even need a breaker bar...but i do recommend using PB blaster really helped get the bolts off..

Did you end up using a coil compressor or just popping them out? I think that's the only tool I don't have handy in my arsenal anymore in the garage.

yea i rented one from AUTOZONE $50, they refund it once returned.....overall the springs arent compressed that much at all, i didn't use it when removing most of em, but you will need it when reinstalling fronts..
