2010 Aqua Blue Metallic build thread [COTW 3/23/15]
Here's my build thread for car. My names Brandon and I'm 25. I'm an automotive painter at a dealership and I've always been obsessed with camaros. Before this one I previously had a 89 RS and a 84 Z28.
My cars a 2010 Camaro 1LT in aqua blue metallic. She started out mostly stock and has come along way since I've purchased her. Modifications are as follows EXTERIOR MODIFICATIONS -ACS T5 Front lip -ACS T5 rocker panels -ACS rear bumper extensions -ACS bumper ports -ACS quad lighting in ports -Ohio speed rear diffuser -Seibon carbon fiber trunk -Rear blackout -ZL1 grill -Emblempro custom "LLT" grill emblem -Custom blue led headlights -Sequential tail light kit -VIS carbon fiber hood -Afterburner tail lights -JDP front tow hook ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION -Brand new GM crate engine -IPF supercharger kit with IPF tune -Elite engineering catch can -BBK long tube headers with gutted BBK high flow cats -BBK x pipe -Dynamax ultra flow axel back Hurst short throw shifter SUSPENSION -MRR Z/28 replicas wrapped in 275/40/20 Nitto Invo -Airlift air ride with Auto pilot V2 management -Eibach Sway bars -2014 1LE Brembo brake swap -Goodridge stainless steel lines -Hawks performance ceramic pads INTERIOR -Blue footwear lighting -Oracle carbon fiber door panels -Custom carbon fiber wrapped center console lid, shifter bezel and dash strips -Custom shifter handle -Emblempro dash plaque -Aeroforce interceptor plenty more to come! This is when I first saw her on the lot. I bought it used and previous owner had installed halos and already had exhaust and an air raid cold air intake. The halos weren't wired so here's when I rewired it Car came without a spoiler which I hated so I bought an oem spoiler from a dealership on eBay that was wrapped in carbon fiber. I also installed a hurt short throw shifter and for Christmas my fiancé had a custom pistol grip made for me (I will take some pictures of it) by my friend I work withs best friend who works at a machine shop. If anyone is interested in it once I post pictures I could probably get contact info for you he used to make then long ago and there a lot cheaper from what I've seen from other companies. Here's just some pictures I have Recently blacked out the whole rear end Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Last edited by Lombardi; 05-18-2016 at 08:37 PM. |

As of right now I have a ZL1 grill on the way. I've also bought an oem gm gfx front splitter from a member on here today. it's currently painted SGM so I'm ether going to paint it ABM or have it wrapped in carbon fiber to match the spoiler.
I also have stripes in the works right now too. I'm going to be doing stripes similar to the hot wheels camaro minus the roof. So just the hood and trunk. Ether flat black or carbon fiber since I'm thinking about going with a subtle carbon fiber theme but I want to keep it clean. I've seen to many cars where to much of a good thing goes bad. I've also started painting the calipers red just for a little better appearance. 2 down 2 to go. I will have more pictures as soon I get time thanks guys! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Once I have the lip installed I'm going to fab something better for the plate. Currently zip tied due to me getting a ticket for no plate. (Which I fought and one) can't risk a ticket since I'm only 22 and need to keep a clean record working at a dealership and all.

Here's some crappy cell pictures I took last night
My custom shifter the fiancé got me. I did get a chance to wipe it down so don't mind that. And it was dark in the garage so it's not to great of a picture. Painted my calipers recently as well And I actually just scored a part time job helping a guy with his vinyl wrap business. He's growing really quick and needed the help. I work full time already but ill help out 4 hours in the morning before work when I can. So ill be doing my stripes there soon on the camaro. He even gave me some cool ideas as well. |

Thanks hope to have some better pictures with my good camera once I start getting all the parts in and finished.
- plan on painting the front splitter tomorrow and possibly install. - ZL1 grill should be in this upcoming week - ordered ACS rockers - I have a dash plaque coming in from emblem pros - I'm also planning on purchasing some ABL footwell lights but well see. - start my part time job at the vinyl place Monday so hopefully I can start designing the stripes. Glad to see I'm not the only ABM in Connecticut now!! I'm sure there are a few others but I haven't run into any. I haven't done anything to my ABM BUT for this season I'm thinking of some minor mods like borla atak cat back, cai, and throttle body. You mentioned carbon fiber. I've been thinking of going with seibon carbon fiber hood and rear deck but not sure about it just yet.
