I've had my VTC 7 months with zero problems. I run SP9 only and use 91 octane avg. 21-23mpgs in city, no tune though.

I Put mine on in September of last year. No issues, and I'm tuned. I did put my throttle settings back to stock and recommend that anybody who has altered their stock throttle settings or ETC functions to return them to stock. I have said that from day one.

If I recall correctly, your problems weren't even caused by the VTC. You had loose wires on your throttle body and a compatibility issue with the VTC, a BBK thottle body and other mods..

Here is the original thread..
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=406642

In that thread, the Vitesse rep told you the reason for your trouble - "Incompatibility somewhere: Vararam Intake + BBK 102mm Throttle Body + Vitesse Controller + Jet Chip Air Flow sensor."

To me, that is a reasonable explanation. Yet you continue to knock the product. Which is ok, maybe you just hate Vitesse or something... but people come here to get good info.... you should be straight up with people who are asking about using the VTC on a car without all of your mods.

Installed my VTC in March, with about 1700 miles on it... so far no codes. I have a Volant CAI & VRAM Ported Throttle Body. 91-93 Octane gas. Run VTC 4-6, but mostly on 5. I've been very concerned about the reliability of the VTC from threads but for now will keep a disconnect in the back of my mind if I get a code. According to VTC the only people having problems are those with tunes. Not sure if that is true anymore. I feel the product makes a big difference in pedal feel, even after the ported TB. Anxiously/hesitatingly waiting to see how it does throughout the Summer.

Few months on mine, generally ok, but sometimes inconsistent response. I have to recalibrate to see if that smooths it out. I'll be pulling it out after the supercharger is on and the car is tuned.

Same here. Car is bone stock 6 spd. Side note, I almost hate driving the car without it now.

Only problem I have run into is that I notice the throttle will stick momentarily on deceleration occasionally. But I am not going to bash VTC as I love having this installed. Will just recalibrate next chance I get. Other than that, has been perfect and a blast. I run and leave mine on SP9.

No problems with mine, installed for 6 months on daily driver. I keep it on 6 or 7.

Can't imagine going without it again.

2 months with mine, and not a single problem. I would agree that a tune can do some improvement for you, but I also understand that it voids the warranty? and I am not ready to do that. The VTC comes off very quickly to help resolve any issues that could arise. Depending on when you bought it, there seemed to be a group of early on ones that had some issues?
