This went south quick lol. I test drove the V6 a couple years ago because I wanted the camaro without the V8 in mind. While searching a friend called saying they had a used SS to look at so I test drove the SS which is now my current car. I picked the V8 because the dealer accepted what I wanted for my trade in and worked with me to lower the price more than the V6 I was looking at. I would've taken either of them but again I chose the used SS instead. So people do have many reasons to get the lower trim, maybe they want to get into the muscle car theme and trying out the v6 first and may upgrade later when they feel comfortable. It's up to the person on what they want and the reasons behind they're purchase. My opinion when I see other camaros the trim level is the last thing I think about, just seeing one is nice.

Same can be said for a 80000lb tractor trailer or concrete truck losing their brakes coming down the off ramp. You'll be crushed inside your car and that concrete truck if it's a front, will just roll right over you.

Way I look at it, is you can't live forever and gotta die sometime. I'd rather die living my life than be worried about if I'm going to die in traffic. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. Can't change it....

Not sure why. I like the v6. It has plenty of power and its a nice car. Would i rather own a v8? Sure but i couldn't afford it just yet. Good thing is, ill be able to get a 6gen in a year and it will be a v8. V6, v8, enjoy your car.

If that's true, then what words do you use to describe the difference between a W16 and a V8?

Raising the bar for 2016. Now the V6 is almost as fast as the 2015 V8 (0-60 in 5.1 vs 4.7), and the 2016 V8 is as fast as the 2015 LS1, and Z28 (0-60 in 4.0). Chevy giving a lot more bang for the buck.

I bought the 2015 V6. I could have afforded the 2016 V6, and the V8. But in everyday driving I didn't feel the little extra thrill from time to time was worth the expense. Everyone has their opinions and priorities, but in the end they are both great cars.

I just read this...

If you live your life everyday fearing sickness or death, you wouldn't be able to leave your house.

I wonder how many of those that went out to eat at Chipotle thought they would get E.Coli? Luckily, nobody died from it.

I wonder how many people going to see a parade think about a crazy person turning their car in to a killing machine by running them over?

I've been rear ended on my bike by a cage. I've also had my right of way taken away, and struck by a cage (herniated disk, now degenerated disk disease). Two accidents in over 35 years of street riding... and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I'm a member of the IBA. I like to ride. I've ridden over 1k miles in 18 hours to eat a hamburger with friends. 300 miles for a cup of coffee, no problem... good BBQ or pie has no limit. I used to average 10-15k miles on my bike a year.

You can see life from inside a bubble, or a cage... or you can feel, smell, and really live life on a bike.

When I start my Camaro, it stirs my heart... when I start my bike, it stirs my soul.
