Anyone have replica/repro rims?

I am looking into getting a set of ZL1 replicas. I have heard some bad things about them as far as quality goes. Does anyone here have any kind of replica rims? How is the quality? Should I just save up for the real ones?

The Factory Reproduction rims is probably one of the most common rims on this site. I have them on my car and the quality and fit is good. I have yet to hear of anybody that has any issues with the actual structure of the rims.

I can't speak highly enough of Doug and his crew at Factory Reproductions. The wheels I wanted were held up because of the strike at the dock. Doug called me as soon as they came in. I paid for my wheels on a Tuesday and they were on the Fedex truck that day, and on my car on Saturday. They are excellent quality, excellent prices and excellent service. Very nice people who are willing to answer any question you have. They also sponsor Camaro5. Give them a call.

X's 2. Doug was great to deal with! I had my wheels quick and the fit and finish is superb. No regrets!

I take it you went with the black chrome finish???? If so, do you have a larger photo with them on your beautiful car? I'm seriously thinking of these particular wheels.
Thanks in advance.

I've had my Factory Reproduction wheels almost a year now and now complaints either. Wheels still look good and I really enjoy them. I purchased mine through one of their eBay auctions. Got the whole package deal(wheels, tires, tires mounted to wheels, lugs, tpms) for around $1880 with shipping. Not a bad deal, as all I had to do was unwrap them, and mount them on the car. I don't mind paying a little more for convenience. I think you'll be happy with one of their sets/packages.

Great rims! They've been on the car for about 8 months or so and I absolutely love them! Mine are gloss black. The only bad thing about them is that they are hard to get perfectly clean! (As I'm a bit anal when it comes to having a clean car).
