Well the wife and I pulled the trigger

Today we ordered our Summit White 2SS/RS 1LE . We also added Navigation and the Dual Mode Exhaust. They had a Crystal Red SS on the lot with the dual mode, so I had them fire it up for us. It sounded pretty sweet. We also got a pretty good deal on the car with $1000 under invoice. Now we wait. It's only been a couple of hours and my mind is racing. Oh yeah, they had a 2013 Black ZL1 on the showroom with a $20k dealer mark-up. I offered to take it off their hands at invoice and they shot me down. Anyway that was my day.

I built one on Chevys site and it came to $43,680. So it is possible to get a little below msrp? What are your payments going to look like? I want one so bad.

It depends on how much I get saved up for the down payment before the car is delivered. Also I'm trying sell one of our other cars to use for the down.

I ordered the car from FH Dailey Chevrolet in San Leandro. Really cool to work with. I initially was referred to them through the Costco auto program. Costco has a $550 under invoice on Camaros(excluding the ZL1). It's the second car I've bought through Costco. It's the only way I'll do it now.
