I think they are going to be lenient on this race. Otherwise I will not be racing, lol. Long pants and helmet and you should be good to race.

I hope the weather report stays accurate. It will be a low of 55* and a high of 80* and sunny skies. Nice weather to race in. I hope this info peaks more Camaro owners interests! I haven't seen a ton of people saying they are going. I'd hate for the Mustang side to outnumber us 2 to 1!

The tech will still be in force, but I was told that as long as the car runs strait And true down the track (sideways at 120mph they are going to check your car out) you should not have problem

Has anyone found out about track prep? I really don't want to come all the way from Houston for a track that is tore up by street tires. I assume they will prep at the beginning but does anyone know if they are going to re-prep and let the fast cars on slicks run?

I haven't heard what the plans are for this event specifically, but they generally prep the track very well and maintain it.

The NHRA Fall Nationals were held there last weekend so I have to believe the track will still be sticky.

Track should be great, we are running pro mods later that night and x275. Track has to be good for us to run a 9" street tire with 1500+ hp.

It's going to be good

So with the profits from this event Clint, will you be retooling your shop to become Chevy friendly?
